A systematic framework for local-service websites.
LSWEF is a structured method for engineering, launching, measuring, optimizing and maintaining websites for local-service businesses — treating a service website as a measurable system rather than a one-off project.
LSWEF stands for Local Service Website Engineering Framework. It is operated by Redlane Marketing Services.
What LSWEF is
Local-service websites tend to be built once and then left alone. Enquiries arrive without anyone knowing which page, campaign or click produced them, and decisions get made on impressions rather than evidence. LSWEF exists to close that gap.
-
A repeatable method
A defined sequence for taking a local-service website from planning through build, launch, measurement and ongoing maintenance, so the same standard is applied each time instead of being reinvented per project.
-
Measurement as part of the build
Conversion tracking, lead capture and advertising attribution are treated as core components specified during the build, not bolted on afterwards when the data has already been lost.
-
Supporting technology
Where the framework needs software to carry data between systems, that software is built as a defined component with a specific purpose and a documented scope. LSWEF Ads Conversion Sync is one such component.
Methodology
Five phases, applied in order. Each one produces something the next depends on, which is what makes the results comparable across projects.
-
Phase 01
Engineer
Define the site's structure, service pages, enquiry paths and technical requirements before anything is built, including how a completed enquiry will be recorded.
-
Phase 02
Launch
Build and publish to a consistent technical standard: responsive layout, sensible metadata, working enquiry handling and verified tracking.
-
Phase 03
Measure
Record which pages and sources produce enquiries, so advertising and content decisions rest on attributable outcomes rather than assumption.
-
Phase 04
Optimize
Use what measurement shows to improve pages, enquiry paths and advertising allocation, then confirm whether the change actually helped.
-
Phase 05
Maintain
Keep the site, its tracking and its integrations working over time, since measurement quietly breaks more often than layouts do.
LSWEF Ads Conversion Sync
Ads Conversion Sync is one technology component of the LSWEF framework — the part that addresses the Measure phase. It is not the framework itself, and the framework does not depend on any single business using it.
Its purpose is straightforward. When a website built under LSWEF produces an enquiry that originated from a Google Ads click, that outcome needs to reach the advertising account for attribution and measurement. Ads Conversion Sync is the component that carries it there.
An authorized user may choose to connect their Google Ads account so that eligible conversion and lead information can be transmitted for advertising attribution and measurement. That connection is made through Google's own OAuth consent process, and it is always the account holder's decision.
Scope of the Google Ads connection
- Access is used only to provide the integration functionality the user has authorized — nothing else.
- The connection is initiated by the account holder and can be revoked by them at any time, directly in their Google Account, without our involvement.
- Google user data obtained through OAuth is not sold, and is not used for advertising profiling, resale, or any purpose unrelated to the authorized integration.
- Access is requested at the narrowest scope that allows the integration to function.
How information is handled, and what we do and do not retain, is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. Conditions of use are in the Terms of Service.
